Hey lovelies! I’ve recently finished reading a lovely little novella from the world of Skulduggery Pleasant…Yes, I like these books. No, I’m OBSESSED. The series of books is just right up my street, and when I heard about this new little book, I decided to get it straight away! I could not miss out!

The book focuses on Tanith Low, the good girl gone bad. You see her through her little hunt to get her hands on the God-killer weapons, and journey through the twists and turns of the story, whilst it grips you and puts you on the edge of your seat! This book is a must for any Skulduggery fan, or just any action/adventure loving bookworms like me!

Have you read this book? What were your thoughts?

PicMonkey CollageHey lovelies! Here’s my recent week in pictures!

Just a few snaps, starting off with a lovely bake sale I took part in at my school…Don’t they look scrummy?! I spotted this next picture on the way back from school on the bus! Doesn’t the soil look like a heart?! The next picture was of when I came downstairs and found this puzzle complete…So cute! I finished the day off with a scummy pizza in my Henry Holland tights, and caught up with Dr Who…Oh and look, a little Saturday selfie just for you;) Haha. And finally a picture of books that are on my list to read!

1 2Top Picture – MUA Pistachio Ice Cream Nail Varnish // Bottom Picture – Cute or What? Nail Varnish

Hey lovelies! One of today’s posts is going to be about my nails! As you can see, the first pictures shows a beautiful minty colour on my fingers, and the second pictures shows one of my toes (I didn’t think you’d want to see my whole manky foot;) Haha.) With a gorgeous coat of sparkly purple covering the nails!

MUA have really upped their game recently, and have brought out so many great items, and dupes for other products! I think that this nail paint (top picture) is so pretty, and the packaging really reminds me of the Essie packaging! The colour is also very much like the Essie Mint Candy Apple, and so is such a great dupe, and only £1! Bargain!

The second picture shows me flaunting off the Cute or What? Nail varnish on my toes, which is just a pretty sparkly purple colour, and is actually probably one of my favourite nail colours at the moment, and is, in my opinion, the best nail varnish they’ve done!

Have you tried these out? What are your thoughts? I’d love to know!

PicMonkey CollageHey lovelies! Today’s afternoon OOTD (I wore my school uniform earlier) was kind of a mish-mash of florals, brights and denim…Which is basically my style summed up in one! I wore the same floral top that I wore in one of my last outfit posts, because I literally LOVE this top! I got it from New Look, and my black bandeau underneath, is also from New Look. I also thought I’d pair it with a shirt that I nearly ALWAYS chuck over my outfits when I want to be a bit warmer, and this is from Calvin Klein. I also thought I’d wear my blue jeggings, as I haven’t worn these in AGES, and I also just thought that I’d wear something a bit lighter than jeans, as today’s weather’s been a bit weird down here, with rain, clouds, sun, etc. Very odd. But anyway, I hope you’re having a lovely Friday…TGIF! Oh, and if you were wondering…I’m wearing the L’Oreal Glamshine Stain Splash in Princess on my lips!

Hey lovelies! So yesterday I saw Megan from, and we just went and had a browse in Boots and Superdrug, and I picked up a few things…I’ll do a haul post soon! And then we came back, took some OOTD pictures, and made pizza, curled up and watched films, and had a lovely little sleep-over! I can now actually have my face in my pictures which is good, so it’s better for OOTD posts! Anyway, I’m so tired, so I’m sorry if this is bad writing, it’s just cause I’ve been doing an audition to be part of Grease: The Musical all day, and I’m so exhausted! But here I am…So, here are the pictures…

I’ve just realised that all I’m wearing are clothes from New Look and Henry Holland!  Well I do love both those brands…Anyway, I hope you liked this post, and I hope you like the tights…They’re new;) Haha.

Screen Shot 2012-12-07 at 16.04.46Hey lovelies! Look what I found in my inbox! A lovely email from the one and only Louise from! She blogs about beauty and lifestyle, and does such a good job, that I knew that I should contact her! Read on for some lovely answers.

1.Why did you start your blog, and did anyone inspire you?

I started my blog as a progression from my Tumblr account. I had been following Emma (From Milkteef) and Holly (from Holly Arabella) on Tumblr for a while and saw that they had moved the majority of their blogging to Blogger, so I thought I’d join in too! Almost two years later, here I am!

2.What do you do other than blogging?

Other than blogging I’m a first class shopaholic, organiser and professional cupcake eater. 😉 But seriously, I’m about to graduate from Durham University with a degree in Criminology in June of this year, and I’m in the middle of transferring with work down to a restaurant in Somerset. I’m not going to say explicitly where I work but it’s very famous, not so glamourous, and has a clown and some golden arches as mascots…

3.What’s been the best experience that you’ve had during your time blogging?

My best experience so far has been getting involved in the #bbloggers chats on Twitter, and being invited to my first event as part of Benefit’s FakeUp roadshow. I love meeting new people and love it when I get a tweet or an email of Instagram comment so I can talk to the other fab #bbloggers out there 🙂

4.Do you have any people/things that inspire you?

Of course, I am inspired by all of the fabulous blogs that I read, and even the new ones I come across every day. General life inspires me too, it sounds cheesy, but I think that some people forget when they’re blogging that they need to engage in life outside of the virtual world, there’s a whole heap of inspiration out there, live it!

5.What camera do you use?

Honestly I just use my iPhone 4s camera most of the time! I also have a small digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix, but I use that mainly for close ups.

6.What’s your favourite and essential item of make-up you think everyone should have?

I definitely think that everyone should have a good mascara. I think I’m a bit of a mascara fiend, I recently had a clear out and found I had 13 – all open! My favourite ‘higher end’ mascara has definitely got to be Benefit’s They’re Real, and for ‘drugstore’ it’s Maybelline’s The Rocket. They’re both perfect.

7.Do you have any favourite make-up designers?

I have to say that I admire the work that Alex Box does at Illamasqua, and I definitely love Tanya Burr’s makeup tutorials on YouTube. I also really love Arabic/Asian inspired makeup looks so I’ll often be found looking through YouTube tutorials for those.

8.Which places do you often shop at for make-up?

I definitely love shopping in Boots, especially larger Boots stores where they have a mixture of brands like Rimmel, Revlon and Maybelline sitting alongside brands like Too Faced, Lancome, and Dior. I think Boots definitely has something for everyone. I also love browsing House of Fraser and Debenhams for a more ‘upmarket’ kind of makeup shopping. I’m obessed with saving up for some Chanel at the moment!

9.If you could steal anyone’s make-up bag, who’s would you steal?

I’d love to steal Anna’s (from Vivianna Does Makeup) makeup bag, she always looks fabulous and I always drum up a list of things that I’d like to try from reading her blog. If Anna wouldn’t let me have hers then I’d ask Kate (from Ghostparties) because she looks flawless and has a fabulous collection!

I hope you enjoyed this, and big thanks to Louise! Look out for my OOTD post coming up later…And I hope you’ve had a lovely day!

Withering-Tights-Cover(Image from

Hey lovelies! I’ve recently just finished a funny little book called Withering Tights from the Misadventures of Tallulah Casey book series, and of course I was going to pick this up! For one, my name is Tallulah, and two, Louise Rennison wrote this book, who also wrote the Georgia Nicolson books, which I LOVE. This book was also the winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, so I knew I would enjoy having a little giggle to this!

This book follows Tallulah joining a new Performing Arts college, where she meets new boys, makes new friends, and realises that she’s actually a true comedian. This will make you laugh so much, as it did with me, and I found that I could really relate to the book, as there were so many embarrassing moments that all us girls have gone through! The next book in this series is A Midsummer Tights Dream, and I’m really looking forward to reading this soon.

Have you read this book? What were your thoughts?
