Hey lovelies! I’m officially BACK and am 100% gonna be back in the blogging game…It’s just been too long. To be honest I think I may have also had a bit of writer’s block and was just stuck on ideas to write about and things to say because it had just been so long. I finished my GCSEs and after a whole year full of stress and constantly revising all the time, I am so glad that I got to get on a plane and fly to Morocco for a week and a half with my family. It was such a breath-taking, beautiful trip and we did so many awesome things, as well as just being able to sit back and relax by the pool…I also got a pretty henna design on my hand, and I’m so sad that it’s fading, although it’s lasted so long!
I’ve also been on so many adventures with my friends and family, such as trips to Brighton and sleepovers, going out on dinner dates, PROM (post coming about that soon!) and just partying because come on, I’m 16, I gotta live a little instead of being tucked up at home watching netflix if I’m honest…

Hey lovelies! I went for a very basic and simple look, but because it’s still not Summer yet, I couldn’t get away with bare legs so decided to chuck some tights into the mix as well. I thought the background was rather pretty with the bright yellow flowers…I hope you’re having a lovely day; May the 4th be with you! *Oh how punny I am*

Hey lovelies! My GCSEs officially start tomorrow (English Language first, so it’s all cool), but yes. I am stressed OUT. I thought I’d take a break and just write two little blog posts for you guys, as I know it’s been a long while. First off, here’s some photography that I took a while back for my art project…And GUYS I’VE OFFICIALLY FINISHED ART FOR GOOD! I do love art, but I’m so glad that I’ve finally finished and don’t have to take classes ever again…

Hey there guys! As you may notice, I’m not Tallulah, I’m Emma, one of her friends. I’ve known Tallulah for 4 years now, and like her, I have a blog as well. You can check it out here. I do posts similar to her, so if you would do me a favour and follow my blog that would be great 🙂 So, here are some facts about me: 1) I’ve been blogging for over a year, but became more committed around Christmas as I love writing and wanted to write more frequently 2) My favourite shops are New Look, Boohoo, Missguided and Topshop 3) I play violin, guitar, piano and *attempt* to sing 4) My favourite make-up brand is Maybelline 5) Make-up/fashion wise, for my birthday I would love one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes. Sorry it’s a bit short, but hopefully in the future me and Tallulah can collab more, and you can expect to see her being featured on my blog soon. Thanks for reading! Emma ❤ xoxo
Hey lovelies! I wanted to talk about all the lovely moments of 2014 that made us women feel proud.
- Mindy Kaling discusses being called “ugly and fat” on social media in the video above, clearly putting everyone back in their place.
- Joseph Gordon-Levitt came out as a feminist, defining feminism in this simple paragraph:
“What feminism means to me is that you don’t let your gender define who you are; you can be who you want to be, whether you’re a man, a woman, a boy, a girl, whatever. However you want to define yourself, you can do that and should be able to do that, and no category ever really describes a person because every person is unique. That, to me, is what “feminism” means. So yes, I’d absolutely call myself a feminist.”
- Lena Dunham partnered with Planned Parenthood for her “Not That Kind Of Girl” book tour, with her statement:
“It’s critical that we all do everything we can to ensure that women have access to the full range of reproductive and sexual health care without their bosses or politicians or judges getting in the way…Planned Parenthood will have a presence on my tour so that people can learn about Planned Parenthood health services and the invaluable information that Planned Parenthood educators provide, and become involved as advocates and volunteers.”
- Beyonce stood before a backdrop with the word “Feminist” across it at the VMAs this year, empowering all us women.
- Laverne Cox became the first transgender woman to be nominated for an Emmy for her role on Orange Is The New Black, taking the world by storm.
- Benedict Cumberbatch recently sported a “This is what a feminist looks like” t-shirt alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hiddleston from the Fawcett Society for Elle UK’s feminism issue. This helped get the message across that men can be feminists too!
- Emma Watson became a U.N. Women Goodwill Ambassador and started the HeForShe campaign to encourage men to help end gender inequality.
- Jim Chapman getting involved in the HeForShe campaign and taking to youtube and twitter to share the love.
Hey lovelies! Catcalling is a serious problem, and women endure it on a regular basis. We have to put a stop to this verbal assault, and this video just disgusts me:
Actress Shoshana Roberts was harassed 108 times whilst walking through New York City for ten hours. This was one campaign to put an end to catcalling and as a cry for help to stop these awful acts. Here is the video:
