Hey lovelies! Today I’m sharing with you Sarah’s guest post on all things accessories and seasonal!

About the author: Except of profound skills in web design Sarah Hall demonstrates talent to When Sarah found this ability, she began to write for numerous blogs. Today this hobby grew into a real passion and occupies an important part in her everyday life. Besides, Sarah is fond of having a chat here.

Spring is in full swing with its bright rays of sunshine and warm days, so it’s time to forget about the winter cold and to think about a new wardrobe and find out what the new fashionable season can offer you! Here are some tips that will help you look gorgeous and trendy.

Becoming shimmering:
Add the gentleness and enigma to your appearance with fringe! This trend was presented in collections by Valentino, Altuzarra, Calvin Klein, Dries Van Noten and Celine. Fringe is a trend with history saturated by art-deco style and fashion of the 1920s and by the freedom of the hippie movement of the 1970s. Fringed purses and bags will ginger up every look and fringed shoes will bring fun and playful note to your appearance.

Another spellbinding trend are metal-shining accessories: Sparkling silver and gold purses, shoes, jewellery, sunglasses and everything that looks metallic. In the 1960s when they started to make synthetic fabrics, the metallic effect in clothes got very popular. And in the 1970s and 1980s, it also influenced the accessories fashion. Shiny metallic accessories remain popular even today. Let’s, for example, recall Martin Margiella’s clutches that looked like metal sheets. And this spring metallic trend was featured in collections by Fendi, Antonio Marras, Roberto Cavalli, Jil Sander, Iceberg, Etro and Dolce & Gabbana. There is something imperceptibly appealing in metal shine, at the same time it brings strength and femininity to the appearance. With this glossy trend you will surely conquer everyone!

Mixing styles:
There are some nice trends for jewellery this year. It’s very interesting, that pearls are becoming popular now, athough classic style accessories are changing to urban style. Pearls of different sizes on one string and numerous strings of small pearls on one necklace, will add some elegance to your look. This trend is presented in collections by Chanel and Valentino. Also, geometrical shaped jewellery are in fashion, so you can experiment with different shapes, bringing some extraordinariness to your appearance. And of course, technology also influenced accessory fashion. This season all the smart watches are in trend. This is the time when high-tech smart devices become exquisite jewellery, so pay more attention to your wrists.

Getting textured:

Shoes are one of the most important accessories, and they make your outfit complete, so it’s very good that this season we have a really good choice of shoes. Block heel shoes and platforms are in trend this spring; they can be textured, shiny and monochrome. So this is a very good solution for those who like comfortable shoes, but still want to look great and trendy. Mid-heel shoes are also in fashion. They are arty and colourful. These trends can be found in collections by Burberry, Zara, M&S, Mulberry, Christian Louboutin, Giorgio Armani, and Jason Wu. Whether you choose a pair of shoes for everyday or something for the evening out, you will definitely look stylish and fancy.

All the trends this season will be glittering, elegant, and colourful, with a contrast of styles and ideas fitting to every mood and desire. Feel free to experiment and combine different types of accessories to show your uniqueness.

Fashion is the integral part of our life. It is always unpredictable, changeable and various. It is always in the centre of public attention. Much money, time and powers are expended to this phenomenon. Fashion and beauty make fabulous things with people. It can cause joy or sorrow, love or hate, pride or envy, income or expense. Fashion has a great power and it manages our wishes. So let’s speak a bit about fashion and beauty.

011Of course, I can’t ignore my favourite Chanel couture. Karl Lagerfeld plans to hold next Chanel couture show in the United Arab Emirates, namely in Dubai. Lagerfeld, as always, breaks all traditions, boosts the audience, caters the potential clients, goes ahead, attracts the masses with his extravagant collections. He isn’t afraid to make own shows outside Paris, and he always does it. For example, 2013’s was held in Dallas. Dubai is very appropriate for the shows, fashion. It is not only rich city, but it is much loved by Karl. Besides, he owns a man-made island Isla Moda here. This Island is a home of fashion. There are boutiques of all designers you can only imagine, five-star hotels,, yachts and so on. We all wait for this event and hope it to be held on Isla Moda.

022Victoria Beckham captured our attention too. She is eager to create her own shoe collection. Of course, she knows, that it is very competitive business today, but she wants to try. Moreover she took valuable lessons from Manolo Blahnic and worked with him for her collection every season. Many fans waited some high-heeled suede shoes with attractive stripes from Beckham, but she surprised everybody. Her collection is in a classic style. She doesn’t plan to do signature shoes. She thinks it to be extra.

033Dion Lee was at his best on this year’s New York Fashion Week. He turned the big American retailers’ attention to his art very fast. His show was filled with prominent Australian ideas. His usual body-hugging aesthetic style turned into men’s style with some pinstripes. He explained such sharp turn with his soul state and nostalgic mood. The show turned out to be rapt.

004Rebecca Vallance had a success there too, in spite of delay in arriving clothes. It was off-Broadway, sensual collection, mostly for celebrities. Stylists liked it too much.

Generally this year’s New York Fashion Week was held nicely. The audience was impresses with innovations, surprised style, beauty and proficiency. It is the most favorite event for those, who cherish and love fashion, beauty, luxury.

Be beautiful and fashionable at any time. Watch fashion programs, read magazines, follow the news, be in the centre of fashion and public attention. Make friends to envy you. Become a bright star!

8941894720_f52d07494c_zHey lovelies! Her blog is full of pictures of her gorgeous, girly style, and also cute pictures of life-style bits and bobs! You may have also seen her featured in Company magazine…This lady is the real deal.

1. Why did you start your blog, and did anyone inspire you?

I’d always had an interest in blogging and I also had a Tumblr long before I started using Blogspot. I guess initially it was Youtubers who had blogs alongside their channels who inspired me to try it out!

2. What do you do other than blogging?

I have an 11 month old baby so I look after her! I’m looking to work in social media or digital marketing though!

3. What’s been the best experience that you’ve had during your time blogging?

There has been loads of great experiences! But being a blogger and making blogger friends allowed me to intern at Company magazine, which was amazing!!!

4. Do you have any people/things that inspire you?

Not necessarily. I like cute, girly pieces and just get inspired by random outfits on television and in magazines!

5. What camera do you use?

I use a Canon 1100d 🙂

6. How would you describe your style?

I think I’d describe it as cute and feminine? I love wearing dresses and feel really weird when I wear trousers haha.

7. What’s your favourite and essential item of clothing/accessory you think everyone should have?

A leather jacket for sure. They’re so versatile and go with every outfit in my opinion!

8. Do you have any favourite designers?

I love Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood and Mulberry. Not exactly out there, but I’m not big on designer things because I can’t afford it, but I love those three.

9. Which places do you often shop at?

I shop mainly at Topshop, River Island, New Look, ASOS and Primark…The usual!

10. If you could steal anyone’s wardrobe, who’s would you steal?

I would definitely steal Rachel Bilson’s wardrobe. She’s always been my style icon, I absolutely love her.

Anyway, look out for my next post later, and I hope you’re having a lovely Saturday!

Tallulah xoxo

blogheader2Today’s post is on the lovely Sarah! Her blog occurs of the occasional lifestyle post, and is full of awesome fashion-y bits and clothing…Oh my, and if you love dresses…You’re in for a real treat!;) Haha, now on for the interview!

1.Why did you start your blog, and did anyone inspire you?
I’ve always loved writing anyway, and for as long as I’ve had the internet I’ve had somewhere online to share my thoughts (although back in the day it was just photos of Angel from Buffy!) I started my blog as it is now when I was working for a beauty brand and started reading beauty blogs for work. I found myself coming up with post ideas and it went from there, although it didn’t stay beauty focused for very long…I really don’t know enough about makeup!

2.What do you do other than blogging?
I work full time in marketing but other than that, I like taking photographs, writing, drawing, TV, films, seeing comedy, going to the pub – Oh, and I go to a LOT of weddings.

3.What’s been the best experience that you’ve had during your time blogging?
I’ve been to some amazing events – Even on the London Eye! But the ultimate best experience is the friends I’ve made. Many of them have made the transition from ‘blogging friends’ to ‘real life friends’ with some of them, like Amy from, among my best friends. I never expected to find a whole new social group from this, and it’s been amazing.

4.Do you have any people/things that inspire you?
Oh gosh, this is hard to answer without sounding pretentious! I think I’m inspired all the time, from the things my friends and family do, to the things I see other bloggers write about, to what’s in the media, what’s in the shops, etc. My sister inspires me a lot – She juggles work with three small children, hardly ever sleeps and hardly ever grumbles. I genuinely don’t know how she does it!

5.What camera do you use?
A Nikon D40 with a 35mm lens mostly, although sometimes I use a Nikon 1 and occasionally the rubbish camera on my iPhone 4S!

6.How would you describe your style?
Classic, girlie and un-trendy. I rarely follow trends – I’ve had some of my clothes for five years! I hate the idea of throwing something out because it’s out of fashion – If you like it, you should wear it. A little while ago I threw out everything in my wardrobe that I didn’t love, and that’s evolved into me wearing dresses 95% of the time. I always feel nice in a dress. 🙂

7.What’s your favourite and essential item of clothing/accessory you think everyone should have?
It’s super boring but I think I’m going to have to go with an LBD. A good little black dress can see you through every occasion, and I have more than one which are totally suitable for both work and play. They’re so versatile and basically work for every occasion.

8.Do you have any favourite designers?
I’m not a very designer person, to be honest, but I love Lulu Guinness, Luella (sniff) and Mulberry. I would LOVE a Mulberry bag!

9.Which places do you often shop at?
I think most of my clothes come from New Look, although lately I’ve been getting more and more from Topshop. Also for a special occasion, it’s got to be Debenhams.

10.If you could steal anyone’s wardrobe, whose would you steal?
I’m going full on fictional here – But it has to be Blair Waldorf or Minnie Mouse!

Thanks for the lovely interview Sarah!

Tallulah xoxo

1.Why did you start your blog, and did anyone inspire you?

I started my blog about a year ago. I made a tumblr back in 2009 and I got quite a large number of followers on there, but I wanted something more personal. I would have to say I’m inspired by Kim Gordon’s blog, , also Kayleigh at and I love Grace’s blog

2.What do you do other than blogging?

My main passion is my artwork, I love drawing and have been really focusing on building up my pieces to build my portfolio and to maybe eventually sell my work!

Definitely my UK/US swap with Natalie over at You can check out our swap on my blog,

My cat Wednesday, the park by my house…I could go on and on. Inspiration is everywhere!

5.What camera do you use?

My iphone, or my little canon, nothing special. I’d like to purchase a better one once I can afford it.

I’d say my style is a touch of classic mixed in with an boho/gangster touch. My style icons include Miley Cyrus, Nicole Richie, Kirsten Dunst, Erin Wasson, Gillian Zinser, the Olsens…etc. I love hoop earrings…So much. And patterned trousers.

7.What’s your favourite and essential item of clothing/accessory you think everyone should have?

Every person should own a nice fitted black blazer, as well as a perfect fitted pair of jeans. I am still on the search for those although I found the perfect pair of destroyed shorts for me yesterday and I’m quite excited! And hoop earrings!!! Red lipstick. Gotta have them.

As far as runway designers who inspire me, I clearly can’t afford any of those clothes, although I really love Celine, Wildfox, Alexander Wang and Dvf.

Lana Del Rey or Gwen Stefani.

IMG_7539Hey lovelies! Today I have a wonderful post on Emily! Oh my goodness, if you don’t know the blog Emily Divine, where have you been?! Her outfits, fashion sense and photography make me want to cry with jealousy! Such a beautiful blog, by such a beautiful blogger.

1.Why did you start your blog, and did anyone inspire you?

There were a handful of blogs I used to read regularly and one day I thought ‘why not?!’ and was inspired to start one myself. I haven’t looked back since!

2.What do you do other than blogging?

I dabble in social media work and freelance writing. I’ve recently started my youtube channel too, which is fun!

3.What’s been the best experience that you’ve had during your time blogging?

There have been so many amazing opportunities and I’ve met some truly wonderful people. I’ve been involved in some fabulous campaigns, been to glamorous events and made some wonderful friends through blogging – I never dreamed any of this would happen when I first started my blog from the comfort of my bed.

4.Do you have any people/things that inspire you?

I love the romanticism of eras gone by. The 40s, 50s and 60s to be precise! I pull inspiration from each of those and add a modern twist.

5.What camera do you use?

I use a Canon 550D with a 50mm lens.

6.How would you describe your style?

My personal style is changing all the time believe it or not, but I’ve got a lifetime to perfect it, so that’s fine by me! As I mentioned, I adore the bygone eras and vintage clothing – I dabble in inspired outfits as the fancy takes me. When wearing items from the high-street, you can throw a peter pan collar, polka dots or a striped tee with a pair of high-waisted jeans at me any day of the week.

7.What’s your favourite and essential item of clothing/accessory you think everyone should have?

I always turn to some high-waisted jeans, a striped Breton tee and a red lip. It’s fail safe.

8.Do you have any favourite designers?

Orla Kiely and Nishe (available on ASOS). Both have amazing retro vibes.

9.Which places do you often shop at?

I shop online a lot, as I’m often too busy to wander around the shops. ASOS, Sarenza, H&M…The usual culprits!

10.If you could steal anyone’s wardrobe, who’s would you steal?

This is a tough question! I don’t think I’d take anyone in particulars…Can I just steal the entire Orla Kiely SS13 collection instead?

Thanks again Emily!

Tallulah xoxo
