11892026_802341416541088_2483832171334379326_nHey lovelies! As many of you may already know, one of my biggest passions has always been music. I’ve loved singing for as long as I can remember and as a kid I was always dancing and taking ballet lessons…(Can you imagine! Haha.) When I was seven I started playing the cello and when I turned eleven I picked up the guitar, and have been playing both ever since.

For the past two years I’ve been working hard at the guitar and have been writing and learning many songs so that I have been able to go out and do frequent gigs and busk! I recently busked in Brighton and have played at a few gigs. I also plan to busk in Crawley, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Lindfield and Kingston upon Thames.

You can find my soundcloud here, where I’ve recorded a couple of songs.

P.S. If you ever want any updates of how my music’s going, or have any recommendations of where to busk, please let me know!

Tallulah xoxo

hiHey lovelies! I’m officially BACK and am 100% gonna be back in the blogging game…It’s just been too long. To be honest I think I may have also had a bit of writer’s block and was just stuck on ideas to write about and things to say because it had just been so long. I finished my GCSEs and after a whole year full of stress and constantly revising all the time, I am so glad that I got to get on a plane and fly to Morocco for a week and a half with my family. It was such a breath-taking, beautiful trip and we did so many awesome things, as well as just being able to sit back and relax by the pool…I also got a pretty henna design on my hand, and I’m so sad that it’s fading, although it’s lasted so long!

I’ve also been on so many adventures with my friends and family, such as trips to Brighton and sleepovers, going out on dinner dates, PROM (post coming about that soon!) and just partying because come on, I’m 16, I gotta live a little instead of being tucked up at home watching netflix if I’m honest…

tumblr_ncfh89Hva91sdmxkpo1_250Hey lovelies! So it’s the holidays, and to be honest…I never know what to do or who to see! So many people plan so many exciting opportunities and I’m stuck at home thinking of what to do…So here are some fail-safe ideas of things to do when you feel like there’s actually nothing to do!

1. Go see somebody that means the world to you; friends, family…
2. Revamp your wardrobe; donate old clothes and go shopping for some new buys
3. Find some new music; search for playlists on spotify and find up and coming artists
4. Be productive; do that dreaded homework and get it out the way
5. Make some plans; find places to go and see with friends
6. Become inspired; flip through magazines or go out and search for something inspiring
7. Get outside; go for a walk, go to the beach…
8. Take a bath; find some bath bombs and have a nice soak in all those bubbles
9. Make a hot drink; tea, hot chocolate and all the toppings…
10. Do what makes you happy; what do you want to achieve and what are your hobbies?
11. Watch some Netflix; start a new tv series or have a movie day
12. Feel good about yourself; just do it!

Hey lovelies! It’s safe to say that I’ve been gone for a looong time…So much has just been happening recently, and it’s been rather sudden! I’ve gone back to school and am now piled up with homework, essays, coursework and exams all the time at school, now that I’m in year 11! It’s going to be a rather stressful year, so I probably will only be able to blog now and again, as you can tell! But I will DEFINITELY carry on blogging, as this has always been my outlet where I can share my thoughts and happenings with all you guys! I’ve definitely missed posting on this platform, and I thank you all for supporting me throughout!

JUST TO SAY, I RECENTLY TURNED 16!!!!!!!!!!!! So above are a few snaps from my birthday happenings!

49 50 53 54 57 58 51 52 55 56Hey lovelies! So just a quick round-up from this last week, as I’m going on holiday next week! (YIPPETY-YAY, HERE I COME!!!)

1. Had the perfect little date night with my chummy, Kim; Pizza and a movie is definitely the key to my heart. (Just saying, if you wanted to know…) We started off the date by popping into Pizza Express, and being picky little gluten-free-ers, we got two small little pizzas each, and yes I think people judged us for having more than one pizza…We then went to the local cinema and watched Boyhood; We were rather sneaky and couldn’t find our right seats, so we just sat anywhere and were shamed in front of everyone when we were asked to move, as we were in the wrong seats! (SO EMBARRASSING, ALWAYS CHECK WHERE YOU SIT.) But ahhh! The film was amazing, I can’t believe they filmed it for about 13 years…We literally saw all the actors grow up! It was such a touching story, apart from the fact that the ending was rather sudden (Kim literally went on a rant about how annoying the ending was, hahaha!) But the only trouble with cinemas is how annoying the women at the front who can’t stop laughing are, the countless heads in front of you blocking the screen, the kid who can’t stop sounding like an animal when he eats popcorn…Wow I sound like such a grump! But I’m sorry…Doesn’t everyone feel the same when that happens?!

2. Me and my friends, (Jackie, Jenny, Kit and Fran) decided to head to some random fields and start playing Twister out in the open…Yes, we got some odd looks from several dog walkers and couples, but it was such fun! (Miranda, oh yes.) We then randomly started rolling down hills and climbing up trees (Don’t ask.) And after a while we all went to the nearby Maccy Ds and bumped into some people from school…(A good thing, as well as a bad thing!!!) But McDonalds was rather eventful, and in the end we found ourselves yet again in another field, playing silly, childish games…

3. I went shopping the other day and bought some laaavely stuff from New Look, Topshop and H&M! The mother and I decided on a little girls day out, and found ourselves buying tops, shorts, leggings, jeans and all that great stuff. (Haul coming soon if you want one!)

4. My friend, Daya came round one afternoon and we spent the whole time munching on spaghetti and going through endless music pieces so that we’re ready to go busking this Summer to earn a bit of cash! (I’m singing and playing the guitar, and she’s playing the violin; Check my youtube channel out here.)

5. Yesterday was lovely…Catching up with all the family, playing silly games, eating waaay too much food, and having many a selfie taken…Even my uncle and granddad ended up taking selfies together…(MY FAMILY ARE COOL, OKAY?!)

How’s your week been?

27 28 29 30 31 JANE BIRKIN PORTRAIT EN 1971 JANE BIRKIN PORTRAIT EN 1971Hey lovelies! I just wanted to share some music lyrics that altogether epitomise body confidence.

P!nk – Perfect:

Pretty, pretty please, don’t you ever, ever feel.
Like you’re less than, less than perfect.
Pretty, pretty please, if you ever, ever feel.
Like you’re nothing you’re perfect to me.

Christina Aguilera – Beautiful:

I am beautiful no matter what they say.
Words can’t bring me down.
I am beautiful in every single way.
Yes, words can’t bring me down… Oh no.
So don’t you bring me down today.

India.Arie – Video:

I’m not the average girl from your video.
And I ain’t built like a supermodel.
But I learned to love myself unconditionally.
Because I am a queen.

Robyn – Konichiwa B****es:

Don’t even get me started on my bada-boom-booms.
One left, one right – thats how I organize ’em.
You know I fill my cups no need to supersize em’.
Right now you probably thinking “how she get in them jeans”.
Well, I’m gifted all natural and burstin the seams.

Lily Allen – Hard Out Here:

If you’re not a size six, then you’re not good looking.
Well, you better be rich, or be real good at cooking.
You should probably lose some weight ’cause we can’t see your bones.
You should probably fix your face or you’ll end up on your own.

Don’t you want to have somebody who objectifies you?
Have you thought about your butt? Who’s gonna tear it in two?
We’ve never had it so good, uh-huh, we’re out of the woods.
And if you can’t detect the sarcasm, you’ve misunderstood.

Janelle Monae ft. Erykah Badu – Q.U.E.E.N.:

They call us dirty ’cause we break all your rules down.
And we just came to act a fool, is that all right (Girl, that’s alright.)
They be like, “Ooh, let them eat cake.”
But we eat wings and throw them bones on the ground.

Lissie – Shameless:

I stole your magazine.
The one with the beauty queen on the front.
I see her look at me.
I swear that it is mockingly.
What the f***?
And you decide what I should like.
But I don’t buy no hype.
Like in the magazine.
The one with the beauty queen on the front.

Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass:

I see the magazines working that Photoshop.
We know that s*** ain’t real.
Come on now, make it stop.
If you got beauty beauty just raise ’em up.
‘Cause every inch of you is perfect.
From the bottom to the top.

Check out all these songs, I’m hooked!
