Hey lovelies! I woke up on Bank Holiday Monday feeling like taking some pictures of my outfit in the gorgeous sun! I decided to put together an outfit which looked slightly smart with the brogues and jacket, but also with a pop of bold, bright colour with the socks and the Beatles tee, as well as some shorts, as it was just too hot to wear jeans. I love this outfit. I think it’s just so chic, and with the added rings, and the cute knuckle ring, I think this outfit is so pretty for a lovely day out! I spent the day wandering through a beautiful forest, and walking past lakes, and gazing at beautiful flowers. It was so lovely and relaxing to be with my family and just chill out and have some fun! You may have also seen these cute frilly socks on my instagram (@simplytallulah), where I stated that these were only 50p from TK Maxx! Such a bargain, and such a great find!

Hey lovelies! Today was just so beautiful that I just had to go outside and take a few outfit pictures! I spent the rest of the day playing music with one of my best friends, and had a lovely time! Now it’s time for a bit of youtube and I’m also just about to go and watch Gulliver’s travels with the family, but before I do that, let me take you through my outfit…

This beautiful bird printed sheer tee is perfect for spring, and I cant obsess over how much I love these boots! The tee was from a little pop-up shop that I found on a street whilst browsing New Look and Jack Wills a while back, and thought that it was something that I just had to buy, and perfect for the winter to spring transition! (I also found a few tops like these in New Look, but this one was way cooler with a zip down the back, which I forgot to show…) Yes, I know these shorts are quite tightly fitted and really short, but that’s how they’re supposed to be, and they’re actually quite comfy! I finished the look up with my sunnies, and also a nice leather jacket, as it became a bit windy throughout the day…Anyway, I hope you liked this post, and what do you think about the shorts? A bit too short and tight, or not?

PicMonkey CollageHey lovelies! Here’s my recent week in pictures!

Just a few snaps, starting off with a lovely bake sale I took part in at my school…Don’t they look scrummy?! I spotted this next picture on the way back from school on the bus! Doesn’t the soil look like a heart?! The next picture was of when I came downstairs and found this puzzle complete…So cute! I finished the day off with a scummy pizza in my Henry Holland tights, and caught up with Dr Who…Oh and look, a little Saturday selfie just for you;) Haha. And finally a picture of books that are on my list to read!

Hey lovelies! So yesterday I saw Megan from, and we just went and had a browse in Boots and Superdrug, and I picked up a few things…I’ll do a haul post soon! And then we came back, took some OOTD pictures, and made pizza, curled up and watched films, and had a lovely little sleep-over! I can now actually have my face in my pictures which is good, so it’s better for OOTD posts! Anyway, I’m so tired, so I’m sorry if this is bad writing, it’s just cause I’ve been doing an audition to be part of Grease: The Musical all day, and I’m so exhausted! But here I am…So, here are the pictures…

Well, I think so anyway, and it’s just a slightly darker baby pink, which gives a vibrant pop to your nails and outfit! Perfect for Spring, and also…It’s pink! I love pink nails, and I’ve actually just realised how about half of my nail varnish collection is made up of different kinds of pinks…Obsessed. If you were wondering, this is from Claire’s, and I really recommend it, as I got this beautiful colour from just one coat! Bye for now.

Hello! So, here’s my last week in pictures, and I had a great week away with family, getting Starbucks and going to museums and galleries…Check out my instagram here:

PicMonkey CollageIn the first picture, you can see both the Toy Story films I watched, and also my reading material for that night! Withering tights and Glamour…YES. Next is the next night’s film and book (I love a bit of Bourne!) Followed by a trip to London with amazing food with the family, and then another trip to London, spoilt with a Starbucks and also some tea at the museum! Further along in the week, I also visited the biggest, most AMAZING sweetshop ever…Marshmallow fluff, lucky charms, pop tarts, wonka bars, nerds, you name it!

903665_371441826297718_2140373533_oRecently, because it’s the holidays, I’ve been reading a lot more regularly! I’ve always been a bit of a bookworm from a very young age, and always have stacks of magazines beside my bed, and overflowing shelves full of books. So, I thought today I’d do a post on two books that I’ve recently read, and have loved!

I went to see Warm Bodies at the cinema a while back, and thought that I’d read the book, as the film was so enjoyable! So I picked up the book, and oh my word. It was so lovely, and beautifully written. I fell in love with R, and found it so touching that he fell in love with Julie, and finally turned from a zombie, to a human. I really recommend it to lovers of horror, romance and comedy! It’s also very much like Romeo and Juliet, so if you love the classic, go pick up the book!

Another book I’ve recently finished reading is One Day. Now, I’ve seen this film many times, and am always crying my eyes out at the end, so I worried if maybe this would be a struggle for me to read, but I enjoyed it anyway, even though it took me a while to properly get into the book! It’s such a sweet, but sad story of how two people over the years start off as strangers, to lovers, to friends, and back to lovers again. I love this film, as the cast played the characters really well. (Especially Anne Hathaway as Emma!) And the book was also great, and obviously got me crying at the end! I know that normally you read the book first, and then watch the film, but I thought why not?! I recommend this if your looking for a romantic comedy, and don’t mind weeping a bit!

Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts?
