untitledHey lovelies! It was lovely to find out that the lovely Gracie from elfypie nominated me for this lovely award!

Here are the rules:

1. You must thank the person who nominated you and include a link to their blog. (Done and dusted!)

2. You must list the rules and display the award. (In the middle of doing it!)

3. You must add 7 facts about yourself. (Wait a sec.)

4. You must nominate 15 other bloggers and comment on one of their posts to let them know they have been nominated. (I shall do it in a jiffy!)

5. You must display the award logo and follow the blogger who nominated you. (Already done.)

Here are the seven facts!

1. I’m obsessed with looking at home-ware and poring over pictures of furniture and décor; I can’t wait until I get my own house and get to decorate it exactly how I want!

2. My favourite books include If I Stay by Gayle Forman, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky!

3. I’m such a musical snob…I’m in love with musicals!

4. My favourite instruments include the cello, guitar and harp. (I play the cello and guitar!)

5. I’ve always had a thing for astronomy; I’m so intrigued by it!

6. I’m currently reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and I shall be doing a review on it soon! (#sorrynotsorry that I watched the film before reading it…)

7. I’m watching a number of TV shows at the moment including Gossip Girl, Game of Thrones and Modern Family.

Now time for me to pick 15 other bloggers to nominate, which is a rather tricky ordeal, but here goes!

1. Rhiannon Duffin.

2. Kate.

3. Wallace Yolicia.

4. Julia Linn.

5. Marcy B.

6. Lena.

7. Lara.

8. Fashion For Lunch.

9. Maisie.

10. Raquel Barr.

11. Maya India.

12. For The Love Of Nike.

Hey lovelies! So yeah…At the age of just 11 years old, little ol’ Tavi journeyed into the world of blogging and began writing for her style blog, The Style Rookie. Tavi quickly became a leading fashion icon with her laid back, effortlessly chic style, and became a huge inspiration for many…Including me of course. The fact that she can play around with her style without giving two flying pigs (Yep, I went there)…Is just awesome. Sometimes we all just dress in the same typical style…Everyone wearing the same trends and pieces of clothing, and having no fun at all…It’s so refreshing to see someone who can just swap up their style in different ways, making us all aspire to do the same instead of dressing like brainwashed clones (I’m aiming this mostly at young teens), when we all just need to dress how we want, instead of worrying about what styles are ‘in’…And of course have fun with fashion!

This is why I personally love to shop in charity shops or go to swishes and clothes swaps, as sometimes all the clothes in high-street shops are just the typical new trends and everything looks the exact same…Whereas you can just come across anything in charity shops etc. from old teapots to vintage culottes.

Of course I have to talk about Rookie Mag, the place to be for every teenage girl who likes to procrastinate her life away (yup, I’m talking about me again). It’s fun, creative and just the coolest place to be on the internet…Ya know?!

We’ve also all seen Tavi’s blog posts decline dramatically on The Style Rookie, but there’s still Rookie Mag to keep us entertained, and those two awesomely cool, fantastically epic etc. etc. etc. Rookie yearbooks that I still need to get my hands on…

I love you Tavi. Yep, I’m gonna say it.

P.S. I of course found these pictures on the one, the only…tumblr.com

Hey lovelies! I was looking back through some old bloggy pictures, and found a few outfits that reminded me of ones from the likes of Carrie, Jazmine and Olivia! I realised that some of our outfits were similar, and I thought I’d just show you our outfits, as I’ve realised that because they’re my favourite fashion bloggers, their fashion sense has obviously just rubbed off on me!

Trend 1: The fluffy pink jumper and floaty grey skirt/dress ensemble.

PicMonkey Collage fluff and swingFluffy pink jumpers are of course all the rave right now, and I’m not surprised at all! As seen on me, pairing it with a cute tee dress and little jacket creates the perfect day-time look, and as seen on Jazmine, you can definitely make it into more of a chic day look, which can also turn into a night-time outfit. The grey dress that I’m wearing is just an essential for me, and me and Carrie are basically wearing it in the same sort of way and style, with just a cute little jacket over the top of the dress along with other bits and bobs added to the mix.

Trend 2: The over-sized black and white tee-shirt dress.

PicMonkey Collage teeOver-sized tee dresses are definitely a big style staple for me. They work for any season and can be dressed up or down. They’re such a cute little investment and work with anything.

Trend 3: The floppy hat.

PicMonkey Collage floppyFloppy hats were a big hit for me in the Spring/Summer, and I can see they must have been for Olivia too. Many a style blogger have been sporting these beauties, and there’s no wonder why! They work with anything and everything, and act as a great extra to glam up an outfit!

What recent trends have you been loving, and who’s style has been rubbing off on you recently?

6a00d8341cf2ef53ef019aff4e740c970b-640wi3. the Flying Saucer: I know Selina’s blog is more fashion based, (which I lovelovelove) but oh my, her skin is perfect, and her make-up is always flawless…And have you seen those nails?!

Hey lovelies! I decided to do a series of posts (well, two posts to be precise, haha…) about…

1. Who’s clothes I heart (which is this post!)

2. Who’s make-up I heart (coming soon!)

So shall I get in to it then?! Wooo!

dawg 0051. rose and vintage: Ellie’s outfit is so effortless, but totally cute as a button. The setting is also super perf, and her sunnies, shoes and over-sized shirt shout at me: BUY! Her levi shorts, minimalist jewellery and tee make the look super casual, but still totally chic.

Untitled-42. Ellies favourite things: Ellie’s outfits are always super girly, with certain elements to toughen it up…In this case the harley davidson tee shouts, ‘ya gurls, i’m super tough, come at me.’, but then her sweet shoes and cute circle skirt definitely bring it down to a minimalism. I like how she popped on a casual cardigan, and not such a bright ‘look at me!’ one, as that would just destroy the purpose of this outfit.

1znmwlj3. Beautycrush: Sammi’s style is always super chic and trendy, and never too over the top. Her laid-back style definitely lets me focus on great basic pieces to invest in, and how to make a minimalism look work! Her summery outfit, may not be able to work now…(Booo, i see rainy skies right now out of my window:(!), but this look will forever work for a lazy hot day with the sandals, mom shorts and flowy shirt.

fashioncoolture-08-09-2013-look-du-jour-motel-rocks-vateno-playsuit-blazer-14. fashion coolture: Flávia’s look here is classic. So girly with all the mish-mash of blue and white print, making the look flawless. It’s very lady-like, but has certain young, fun elements, such as the cute, bold sunglasses.

spacejam 15. briar rose: Megan’s look is so elegant here, ahhh, I’m quite shy from big prints, and cute, girly pieces, but I’ve always admired people who can pull off such awesome pieces, such as this skirt here, and look at that jam-tart ring! Her top is very simple and plain, making sure all the attention is on the skirt, and even the red lip, but the cute collar and sleeves still make it ultra lust-worthy in my case.

tumblr_mqcv35AX2A1qefhxso1_12806. V.E.: I love Violet’s look here. I know you can’t even really see it…Haha, (I loved the photography here so much so I had to use it, but go check out her blog for her full post!) But as you can see, her simple wide-brimmed hat and top give off a very laid-back, but elegant vibe, along with her added denim jacket! (You all know much of a sucker I am for them!)

DSCF69697. TIE-DYE-EYES: Allie took inspiration from Chloe Sevigny for this outfit, and it’s so gorgeous! So simple and easy to re-create with the shorts, shirt and cute boots, but the blazer adds a hint of masculinity, along with the feminine pieces to mix it up! (Floral headband and bright bag all the way!)

9696470864_7ce0143ee4_z8. What Olivia Did…: Olivia’s outfit is perf. She’s so elegant, and this look is as though a fairy-tale character has jumped right out of a book! Look at the candy-floss coloured flowing dress and matching fluffy, light-weight jumper! How simple is that?! So flawless, I must say! The bouffant hair and lippie are classic additions, and the heels and sunnies are so cute.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and agreed that these lovely ladies are some of the most stylish in the blogosphere…Yep, I said it.;)

Tallulah xoxo
