hvL1EeqsHey lovelies! So okay, it’s starting to brighten up a lot here in England, with many a summer spell, and practically everyday I seem to end up bathing in my own sweat…It’s definitely Summer, which means many will be off to get their bodies fully bronzed up, but not me.

Why shouldn’t we all just embrace our own natural skin? Yes, I’m rather pale, but it doesn’t mean I need to go off and apply fake tan, or go out and bathe in the sun, just to try to get a tan, whilst effectively putting myself at risk of skin cancer…Pale girls in general have less skin pigmentation, so when they’re exposed to the sun they’re often at a high risk, as well as if they got into a tanning booth.

Of course I’m not saying that you should shut yourselves indoors all day, of course not! I mean, in England most people lack vitamin D because they don’t get enough sun, but this doesn’t mean that you should go outside without any sun cream just to gain a tan, and instead burn yourself silly. All I want to express, is that you shouldn’t need to try to get a tan just to cover up the fact that you may have quite pale skin, like me…You should embrace whatever skin you have, and we all just need to gain that extra boost of self-confidence and learn to love ourselves the way that we are!

IMG_7215Hey lovelies! We all have those no.1 products that we have to use regularly on a daily basis, right?! Ones that we are completely besotted with and have to be within arms’ reach of us at all times? Well let’s dive into my little stash…

REN Glycolactic Face Mask: I’ve already written a whole post discussing this cult beauty product, which you can read here.

Bio Oil: I use this on any stretch marks and scarring that I have…I also find it helps moisturise my face, as my face seems to be rather dry at the moment, so this is great for a little pick-me-up!

Simple Facial Wash: What a classic, eh?!

Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser: This is also a classic, and one that I’ve used for years now!

Vaseline Pink Bubbly: Feels and smells amazing when applied, and really does the trick!

Soap & Glory Hand Food: Yet again, this feels and smells amazing when applied, and really helps keep my hands moisturised and soft! I’ve had many a compliment due to this!

PicMonkey Collage123Hey lovelies! Quite a mixed wishlist today…Some music and beauty bits, including the new hyped up Revlon Matte and Lacquer balms!

1. Warpaint: Warpaint’s new album, predictably named Warpaint, is at the top of my wishlist. These charmingly talented three ladies’ last album, The Fool, was on repeat for many months, and now I’m craving the next one!

2. Nina Nesbitt Peroxide: I think I’m in love with this girl. If some of you didn’t know, I have a music channel, and I’ve had some people telling me that I remind them of her! Such a mahoosive compliment, which I totally don’t agree with, but Nina is definitely one of my major inspirations, and her song, Stay Out is magnificent.

3. Paloma Faith A Perfect Contradiction: I think everyone has probably heard her new single, Can’t Rely On You, and wow. Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow. I’ve got all her CDs, which are actually all signed by her, and I can’t wait to get my hands on her next album!

4. Lush Rose Queen Bath Bomb: This indulging bath bomb, is said to calm the skin, whilst smelling, obviously, like roses. Who wants more than that, eh?!

5. Revlon Matte and Lacquer balms: Beauty bloggers and vloggers are talking non-stop about these cheeky little balms, and I understand why! I’ve tried the Revlon chubby stick versions before, and I’m in love with them, so, um, yes, I really need to get a job.

What have you been wishing for recently?

P.S. I don’t own any of the images above!

001Hey lovelies! It’s been a while…But I’m back! *Guess who’s back back back, back again gain gain*

I won’t go into too much detail about why I’ve been away, but all you need to know is that I’m back, and shall now be regularly blogging again, but just not as regular as before I’m afraid.

So as you can tell, I went shopping a little while back and spent a lot of cash on just four items (make-up is becoming so much more expensive nowaday, it’s doing my head in!) I’m completely in love with all of them, so I thought I’d share my love of them with you guys!

1. Simple’s Hydrating moisturiser: I needed to stock up on moisturiser’s as I keep getting through them so fast, so I of course got the Simple moisturiser! It just does the trick, no wonder it’s UK’s No.1!

2. Maybelline’s the Rocket mascara: I thought I was a Maybelline the Falsies kinda gal, but then this stepped into my life and literally took over! Maybelline mascaras really are perfect.

3. Rimmel’s Scandaleyes micro-precision eyeliner: I’ve been searching for the ONE, when it comes to liquid eyeliner for a very long time. Trying countless eyeliners, I think I may have finally found it…It’s practically a pen and can draw on the perfect thin line, or build up to a full cat-eye.

4. Revlon’s Photoready concealer: I’ve never really liked concealers which are in stick form, I’ve normally liked liquid ones, but my friend persuaded to get my hands on this, stating that it’s her favourite concealer, so I decided to give it a go. I love it. I didn’t think I would, but this has great coverage, blends easily, doesn’t crease and gives a lovely matte finish, as I don’t really suit the whole ‘dewy’ look! I build it up with my foundation when I want a bit more coverage, but even on it’s own, it’s a delight.

What have you been loving recently?

1491714_497226957052537_1501802717_nHey lovelies! The #BritishBloggerSelection theme for last week is supposedly on bargains that I’ve found…And I thought I’d make a whole list on things to do this Christmas Eve…Either fun free things to do with the family or some cheap days out! (Does that count as bargains I’ve found…? I think so;))

1. Paint your nails: Get those glitter polishes out and those classic Christmas colours and make sure those talons look perfect!

2. Spa time: Maybe take a lush bath and get those skin-care products out to polish up for the big day! You need to be looking fresh before you scoff all the chocolates!

3. Read: Get those festive books and magazines out and let you’re mind wander and just relax!

4. Cosy up: Chuck on the knits, big festive jumpers and bobble hats…Go wild!

5. Belt out those tunes: Have a sing-along with the family or head out to sing some carols!

6. Open a sneaky present early: Of course I’ve opened a few presents early…I’ve opened the ones my friends gave me, because you just have to open presents they give you in front of them…Right?! (Such a good excuse;))

7. Make sure all the decorations are up: Get those lights up and maybe even go for a walk to look at all the lights around your street!

8. Get those festive films out: A Christmas Carol (Disney all the way), Elf, The Grinch and Polar Express have got to be my faves…Sit down, grab the choccies and have a little family movie together!

9. Light those candles: Yankees, Diptyques…Hello beauties.

10. Get baking: Honeycomb brownies anyone?!

11. Go to a party: Maybe catch-up with some family or friends and have a little pre-Christmas feast!

12. Sort those presents: Make sure you’ve bought all those gifts and you’ve got them wrapped and ready…

13. Go to a festive venue: I think some ice skating and Winter Wonderland is on the agenda…

14. Go to the cinema: I’m off to see The Hobbit today! (The second one obvs) I’ve been wanting to see it for ages, so my daddy’s going to take me. Nora‘s been telling me that it’s amazing, so I’m beyond excited!

15. Make a gingerbread house: Grab a last-minute how-to kit from somewhere like Sainsbury’s or Lidl and stick those gum drops on!

What’s your plans for today?

Tallulah xoxo

001Hey lovelies! So I know a lot of you will probably be last-minute shopping this Christmas Eve, so here are a few gift ideas to get your hands on, or to maybe even add to your own wish list!;)

1. Everyone loves DVDs, so getting your mitts on a few film to give someone this Christmas would be a perfect gift for anyone, especially a lovely festive film!

2. Cute stationary is a must for any blogger or aspiring writer, so this would make a lovely little gift! You could even give it to them as a little back-to-school gift for the new year!

3. Cosy knits are a must for anyone at this time of year! Bobble hats, mittens, scarves and jumpers are everyone’s favourites!

4. Make-up is a lovely idea for any girl into beauty and make-up, especially beauty bloggers…*Hint hint*;)

5. Jewellery, such as midi rings, chunky chain necklaces and bangles are perfect for dressing up at New Year’s and for Christmas parties!

6. Lush goodies would be great for lovely baths this time of year to help you calm down and relax! I’m definitely having a Lush bath tonight…Mark my words!

What gifts have you got for the family this year?

1467180_493058497469383_163908953_nHey lovelies! Urm, okay, I have to admit to something terrible…I have missed three #BritishBloggerSelection posts three weeks running…And I haven’t posted in over a week! I really do feel bad about this little naughty secret, and I don’t want to cover it up with a load of ‘I was busy!’ lies, when the truth is that I just haven’t felt very motivated recently. It’s not that I don’t have anything to post, as I have a massive list, but I just haven’t felt like it. I recently started my youtube channel, and I’ve gotten a bit iffy about that too. I don’t know whether to carry on, or start doing it again later on, at a stage where I can put all of my time and commitment into it. I’ve been putting off editing videos recently, and have been trying to do a load of revising for tests and Christmassy things, so I’ve told myself not to worry, and that I have a good excuse for not editing. I don’t. Onto a more happy note…Here is my #BritishBloggerSelection post on one of my favourite skin-care products…Ever.

I always use the Ren Glycolactic Face Mask whenever I’m in need of a little pick-me-up! Use this once a week, and it should improve your skin tone and renew your complexion, which it definitely does! (As well as reducing wrinkles, which I can’t vouch for just yet!) The texture is very sticky and icky, and looks a lot like marmalade, but the fact that it exfoliates and does a good job makes up for it! The smell is very citrusy and smells a lot like a vat of orange juice was poured into it’s bottle. Leave it on for 10 minutes, with maybe a slight tingling sensation added to the mix and you’re good to go! My face feels instantly bouncy, and looks fresh, glowing and awake as soon as I remove the mask, and seems to also help reduce spots for me too!

It’s quite pricey with a £30 pricetag for 50ml, but I personally think it’s a steal, but I can’t really vouch for that either, as I got it free with a magazine subscription! What are your thoughts on it?

Tallulah xoxo
