IMG_1714IMG_1713IMG_1712IMG_1711emmaemmaaHey lovelies! This post has been a rather long time coming, I know…So in July I went to the wonderful Sophie and Kate‘s Summer blogger meet-up in London, which was similar to a meet-up that I went to two years ago (link to the blog post).

We did a similar kind of thing to the previous meet-up that I’d been to, where all eight of us met up and went on a little wander in amongst the shops, and down to Oxford Street to have a little browse and splurge! I only bought one item (top from New Look), as well as a belated birthday present for Emma (harem pants from New Look). Me and Emma also went and sought out one of the few photobooths in the huge Topshop located on Oxford Street and took some snaps!

We also got given some great goodie bags filled with St Moriz Fast Self Tanning Mousse, Balmi Moisturising Lip Balm, Popband and a necklace and earrings combo from Jewellery Box!

After a lot of shopping and chatting we all headed back to The Diner for burgers and fries, which was an awesome end to the day!

All the lovely bloggers that participated: Kate, Emma, Tania, Jasmine, Emily and Sophie and Chelsey who I’ve met before at a previous meet-up!

burgerHey lovelies! I know this post is lacking on good quality photographs, but I’m afraid this will have to do…

Recently I took a trip up to London with my mum for a sort of ‘mother and daughter day’ if you wish…This included a lunch of prawns, anchovies and salad at Caravan with a side order of fries, and a few milkshakes. We then walked to a cute little market and headed to some shops (including Topshop where I FINALLY picked up some Joni jeans!) We also took a little trip to a Roman amphitheatre which was rather interesting and then a walk along the river Thames to the AMAZING Gourmet Burger Kitchen for a glass of their home-made lemonade and Summer special burger…Get it cooked medium and it’ll be the best burger you’ve ever had. FACT.

Can you recommend any great restaurants?

westsidestooryHey lovelies! Yesterday I got the opportunity to go to Somerset House for their Film 4 Summer Screening of West Side Story! I went up to London in the afternoon with my family and we got to be VIPs at the event (the VIP toilets were so classy!!!)

Somerset House was beautiful and there was an awesome DJ (Blonde Ambitions) who set the scene at the start of the event. When we got there we started feasting on our picnic and took many pictures just before the film was about to start. After a short speech, the film began rolling and I thoroughly enjoyed it, considering I’d never seen it before!

Today is the last screening for Film 4; did any of you guys go up to Somerset House for any of the fifteen screenings?

devdevodevondevonsHey lovelies! Me and my family recently packed up the car and headed down for Devon for a couple of nights to stay with some friends…Five hours in a car is not fun, I can tell you! When we got there we decided to venture down to one of the many little beaches and walked along the seafront in the pouring rain…It was not okay.

The next morning we decided to head down to a different beach surrounded by beautiful cliff-tops that was only walking distance from where they lived. After arriving back to the house for some cream teas (YOU NEED TO TRY THIS OLD ENGLISH TRADITION), we set off again to watch some live music and have fish and chips by the sea!

campingHey lovelies! This summer I’ve been away quite a bit; me and my friends packed our bags and camped at a nearby camp-site to get away for a couple of days. This included regular wasp attacks, a few injuries, our brilliant cooking skills (surprising), awful sleeping patterns, many card games, walks around the lake and our tent being covered in hundreds and hundreds of flies…Plus, we were totally ripped off, we’re only 16 and had to pay £20 for two nights each and had to pay extra for a shower! WHAT?! Typical. We had a fab time and I came home feeling super gross and tired (I did not want to pay extra for a shower thank you very much.)

Have you guys been off on any adventures recently?

11892026_802341416541088_2483832171334379326_nHey lovelies! As many of you may already know, one of my biggest passions has always been music. I’ve loved singing for as long as I can remember and as a kid I was always dancing and taking ballet lessons…(Can you imagine! Haha.) When I was seven I started playing the cello and when I turned eleven I picked up the guitar, and have been playing both ever since.

For the past two years I’ve been working hard at the guitar and have been writing and learning many songs so that I have been able to go out and do frequent gigs and busk! I recently busked in Brighton and have played at a few gigs. I also plan to busk in Crawley, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Lindfield and Kingston upon Thames.

You can find my soundcloud here, where I’ve recorded a couple of songs.

P.S. If you ever want any updates of how my music’s going, or have any recommendations of where to busk, please let me know!

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzHey lovelies! Wow, two posts in a day! I really am getting back into the swing of blogging now…I wanted to show you a few snaps from prom which was one of the best nights of my life so far, I can honestly say. It was awesome; everyone looked beautiful and I’m so glad I got to share such a wonderful night with all my lovely friends and boyfriend. Thank you to my amazing cousin for being there as my personal photographer, woop and now I just can’t wait to start college, I’m so excited! (My prom dress is from Chi Chi London if y’all wondering).

hiHey lovelies! I’m officially BACK and am 100% gonna be back in the blogging game…It’s just been too long. To be honest I think I may have also had a bit of writer’s block and was just stuck on ideas to write about and things to say because it had just been so long. I finished my GCSEs and after a whole year full of stress and constantly revising all the time, I am so glad that I got to get on a plane and fly to Morocco for a week and a half with my family. It was such a breath-taking, beautiful trip and we did so many awesome things, as well as just being able to sit back and relax by the pool…I also got a pretty henna design on my hand, and I’m so sad that it’s fading, although it’s lasted so long!

I’ve also been on so many adventures with my friends and family, such as trips to Brighton and sleepovers, going out on dinner dates, PROM (post coming about that soon!) and just partying because come on, I’m 16, I gotta live a little instead of being tucked up at home watching netflix if I’m honest…

Hey lovelies! I went for a very basic and simple look, but because it’s still not Summer yet, I couldn’t get away with bare legs so decided to chuck some tights into the mix as well. I thought the background was rather pretty with the bright yellow flowers…I hope you’re having a lovely day; May the 4th be with you! *Oh how punny I am*

Hey lovelies! My GCSEs officially start tomorrow (English Language first, so it’s all cool), but yes. I am stressed OUT. I thought I’d take a break and just write two little blog posts for you guys, as I know it’s been a long while. First off, here’s some photography that I took a while back for my art project…And GUYS I’VE OFFICIALLY FINISHED ART FOR GOOD! I do love art, but I’m so glad that I’ve finally finished and don’t have to take classes ever again…
