2nroo40Hey lovelies! What new post do I have for you today, then? A guest post featuring the lovely Chelsea from http://www.throughchelseaseyes.com/! I decided to contact Chelsea, because of her amazing dedication to her blog, and because her blog is just basically one of the most inspiring blogs that I read, so read on for the lovely interview!

1) Why did you start your blog, and did anyone inspire you?

I started my blog because I suffer from really bad migraines, and was getting stuck in a little bit of a rut. I was feeling rubbish and had nothing positive to focus my time on.

After spending so long reading other people’s amazing blogs, and loving their confidence and just the whole feel of blogs; One night i just thought ‘what the heck’ and set my mind to it, and Through Chelsea’s Eyes was born!

2) What do you do other than blogging?

I work part time as a clerical assistant in a car garage! – Glamorous huh?!

3) What’s been the best experience that you’ve had during your time blogging?

Oh gosh, there’s been so many things I’ve loved about it! I think the main experiences which stand out, is when I went to the Benefit event in Liverpool, and also meeting all my blogging friends, as I’ve made so many and I love them all! Especially my friend Tash from itssimplybeauty.com! She drove the very long drive to see me, and I just love her!

4) Do you have any people/things that inspire you?

Lots of things inspire me, but I think photography is the main thing. I really love to take pretty pictures and I hope to keep learning and getting better at capturing those moments!

5) What camera do you use?

I use a canon 600d with a 50mm lens, which I got as a Christmas present – Super lucky!

6) What’s your favourite and essential item of make-up you think everyone should have?

I love mascara! I think a good mascara can solve any make up dilemma, as I love how it just opens up your eyes 🙂

7) Do you have any favourite make-up artists?

I have so many favourite make up brands! MAC, Laura Mercier, YSL, and more recently I’ve dipped my toes into NARS, so I’m loving them too! There’s just so many good brands, although I do love drug store brands like L’Oreal, Rimmel and Barry M!

8) Which places do you often shop at for make-up?

I love to shop at Selfridges for make up. It just makes me feel all posh! But I’m not too bothered where I shop as long as they have what I need.

9) If you could steal anyone’s make-up bag, who’s would you steal?

I would love to steal Tanya Burr’s! Her make up is always flawless and her youtube looks are just effortless, so I would love to steal hers if she wouldn’t mind…Or instead of steal, let’s say if she was giving it away…I would be first in the queue!

Hey lovelies! On Sunday I went on a lovely walk around the countryside with one of my friends, so that we could have a big photography session! As you may know already, I love photography, and sometimes venture out with my camera to snap some nice pics of my friends when they ask me for a little photography session! I also sneakily asked for a few pics of outfit, as this is one of my new dresses from this swish thing that I keep talking about! I found so much there! If there are any swishes or clothes swaps taking place near you, please jump at the opportunity to go, even though it may sound a bit weird, but seriously look through the piles of clothes and clothes racks, and I’m sure you’ll find a few (or a LOT) of nice pieces! Anyway, I got a bit off topic, so yeah, this is me awkwardly looking at buttercups on a lovely sunny day, looking a bit like Alice with my bow and cute outfit (don’t forget those awesome brogues my loves). So anyway, off I hop, and be sure to check my blog out tomorrow for my next post!

2jc649sHey lovelies! I have a nice little post for you today, as it features an amazing blogger, who you most probably know…Maddie from http://maddie-elizabeth.blogspot.co.uk/! She has the most amazing style, so I knew that her and her blog would just HAVE to be featured! Read on for the lovely interview.

1.Why did you start your blog, and did anyone inspire you?

I’d been reading blogs for a good few years before I plucked up the courage to start my own, as I’d been inspired by so many, especially Lily Melrose at http://www.llymlrs.com. Her dedication really shows through in her blog.

2.What do you do other than blogging?

I’m a uni student in my final year studying marketing and advertising, so currently my life is spent in the library revising for exams…Not very glamorous at all.

3.What’s been the best experience that you’ve had during your time blogging?

Travel Supermarket gave me the opportunity to go to bootcamp which has to be one of my best experiences, meeting some amazing like minded girls and learning some amazing skills! An opportunity I never would of had before. Also being shortlisted for the Company blog awards has been pretty surreal.

4.Do you have any people/things that inspire you?

People on the street and magazines, but mainly my flatmates. I’m lucky to live with 5 amazing girls with amazing style, and it helps that we’re all a similar size! It’s like an endless supply of clothes.

5.What camera do you use?

Canon 1100d.

6.How would you describe your style?

My style changes on my mood, I never quite know how to describe it. It can go from girlie to grunge within a day, so I suppose you could call it ‘girlie grunge’. As long as I like something though, I’ll wear it.

7.What’s your favourite and essential item of clothing/accessory you think everyone should have?

Oh this is a hard one, I’d say a good pair of jeans and a little black dress. If you have the right shape jeans for your figure I think they can really make an outfit, and also a little black dress is always handy to have in your closet, mine is a go to whenever I’m having an evening wardrobe crisis.

8.Do you have any favourite designers?

I’m such a high street girl but I’m loving Missoni’s classic prints at the minute.

9.Which places do you often shop at?

Topshop, H&M and Primark are my go to stores, but I’m also a big online shopper though eBay and Miss Guided, which are current favourites.

10.If you could steal anyone’s wardrobe, who’s would you steal?
It w
ould have to be the Olsen twins. These girls can seriously do no wrong when it comes to fashion!

indexTrainers – Converse // Top – New Look // Skirt – H&M // Jacket – Long Tall Sally // Tights – Primark

Hey lovelies! I thought I’d show you some pictures of my outfit from Saturday that my friend from Megan from mynamesmegan.blogspot.co.uk took in the gorgeous sun! I recently bought these spotty tights, my vest top and skater skirt whilst shopping with all my girl mates, which was so much fun, and I had a great time. I think all these pieces paired together gives off a cute and girly vibe, but is also toughened up by the converse and denim jacket! I actually got this jacket from a swish recently too, and it was such a great find, because it’s also really stretchy and  oversized, which is definitely what I look for in great denim jackets! Anyway, I hope you’re having a lovely day, even though it looks really miserable and grey outside my window…

IMAG1698Hey lovelies! Today I’m going to do a post on just a little OOTD that I was meant to share with you a while back when I went to London for the day! I don’t know why I haven’t shared this with you before now, but I thought it was better late than never! As I was going to London, I decided that my outfit should be quite simple, but very chic with a cute Beatles tee from H&M, a leather jacket from New Look and my trusty New Look jeans! I had a great day out, just chilling with my family and visiting all the nice museums!

I also thought that I’d share with you last week’s instagram…And ok, I seriously took, like, no photos last week, because it was such a hectic week with exams and the end of school and everything, but I thought that I might as well show you the pictures! Feel free to follow my instagram: @simplytallulah

Hey lovelies! So the sun has finally started to peep through the clouds…Well, kinda…But anyway, as it’s now basically the half term holidays, we need to start getting our mitts on those sunnies when we head out the door! I’ve styled two of my favourite pairs of sunnies that I’ve recently found with a few outfits, just to get you thinking of how you can style your sunnies! And obviously it won’t be THAT hot or warm at the moment (come on, it’s England), but the sun always seems to blind me when I go out the door, so yeah, but there will be jumpers and booties in this post, because of that fact!

PicMonkey CollagecThis first outfit occurs of just a cute purple Monokeros Knitted Jumper from iheartdropdead.com with cute motif unicorns that are printed around the jumper. It seems very light, which is perfect for getting into summer, and paired with one of these Metal Vintage Medium Retro Circle Round Artist Musician Sunglassess from ebay, it gives off a very edgy and retro feel! I also love these Damsel Cross Spike Boots from nastygal.com! Ahhh, in love!

PicMonkey CollageThis next outfit is such a cutesy girly look, but with a fierce edge, giving off a cute rebellious vibe…Too many words. And it starts off with this rainbow Color Block Lambswool Sweater by Chic+ from chicwish.com, which reminds me of candyfloss and circuses…Anyone else? Rounded off with these Sarah Chunky Round Sunglasses from topshop.com and Leela Platform Shoe Boots in Black from daisystreet.co.uk, it’s just perfect!

I hope you liked these outfits, and it gave you some ideas and inspiration for some great looks!

21a0a99a3dcc84f1e46e5a8ec07212a7Hey lovelies! I have a lovely post for you today, as it features one of my favourite beauty bloggers of all time…Holly Arabella from http://hollyarabella.blogspot.co.uk/! Everyone who reads her blog will know that she’s a dedicated, hard-working, inspirational blogger, and emailing her was lovely! Read on for her lovely answers!

1.Why did you start your blog, and did anyone inspire you?

I started it because people in my life got very bored of hearing me rave about skincare and cosmetics all day; so I created a space online to share my thoughts with other cosmetics obsessives. I wasn’t inspired by anyone I don’t think, I just went for it because all I wanted to do was share my love for my favourite brands and products. I didn’t start to become popular or well known, or for freebies or anything like that at all (I had no idea any of that even really came with blogging!); I started because I really wanted to just get my passion out there and chat about beauty with like minded people…and that’s what I still do to this very day!! 🙂

2.What do you do other than blogging?

I’m an undergraduate Psychology student, I’ve also just started working full time as an Account Manager for a cosmetics brand. When I’m freed up you’ll find me spending time with my friends and boyfriend just chilling out, relaxing and having some fun!

3.What’s been the best experience that you’ve had during your time blogging?

That’s a tough question because there are so many; I think my best experience is collective in having met some people who I am totally inspired by and some brands that I absolutely love.

4.Do you have any people/things that inspire you?

Everything inspires me! No one specific comes to mind, I tend to be inspired by current trends and then try to put a unique spin on them. For ultimate inspiration when it comes to blogging and beauty I head to Pinterest, it’s great for pinning your own and others ideas, looks, tips etc!

5.What camera do you use?

I use a Canon 1100D; it’s a beginner’s SLR camera and does everything I need it to do. I’d love to say I read the manual so that I know how to use it but that really would be a lie, I just go ahead and try out whatever until a good shot appears.

6.What’s your favourite and essential item of make-up you think everyone should have?

This sounds so dull but I’d have to say a lip balm – honestly, my lips get so dry and I couldn’t be without it…I just hate the feeling of dry lips and I suffer all year round. My top pick is Dr. Lipp’s Original Nipple Balm for Lips, it’s quite pricey so if you don’t fancy splashing out I also adore Nivea lip balms. Otherwise I’d say a lipstick or mascara, they’re perfect everyday pick me ups that don’t need to much else alongside them to have an impact.

7.Do you have any favourite make-up designers?

I have SO MANY favourite makeup designers! Within the industry I really admire Alex Box; she is an incredible Makeup Artist, forever pushing the boundaries of cosmetics and creating incredible looks. My favourite cosmetics brands include Urban Decay, Illamasqua and Estee Lauder, and of course for nails I can’t get enough of Essie and really like Models Own as well. For skincare I’m really into Origins right now, every product I’ve tried I’ve just loved!

8.Which places do you often shop at for make-up?

Debenhams is my all time favourite place for purchasing cosmetics, I am always in there with my Beauty Card! I shop a lot online too, I shout from the rooftops about cheap Essie polishes at Fragrance Direct and love Cult Beauty too for trying new and exciting brands.

9.If you could steal anyone’s make-up bag, who’s would you steal?

Temptalia’s! That girl has every item of makeup a person could ever possibly have…and then some!

PicMonkey CollageHey lovelies! Just a little snap of my outfit from yesterday! I recently got a few bits from a swish…(Haul coming soon!) And I wanted to show you them in an outfit! These jeans feel so comfy and are actually from Topshop. I also found this little cropped striped tee, which I thought was perfect just as an essential piece to add to any outfit. I also got this amazing cardi, which I’ve had many compliments on, and this was actually new with the label on! It’s from Oasis, and is just a lovely big cardi to just chuck on when the weather’s a bit chilly. I also added my apple necklace, and was good to go!

PicMonkey CollageHey lovelies! Whilst browsing the internet for new fashion finds, and having a little scroll through ebay, I found some beautiful buys which are all in fact a shocking electric blue colour! What do you think about all these items paired together? Too much?!;) Haha.

I found this lovely Blue Contrast Leather Long Sleeve Drawstring Crop Coat on sheinside.com, and I thought it would be a great piece to add to my wardrobe! The mix of electric blue and faux leather makes for an outstanding, jaw-dropping jacket that will go with any outfit…

I found this cute Faux Leather/Suede Handbag Purse on ebay, and fell in love! Look at the clothes that it’s matched with in the picture above! It goes with anything! Super cute outfit and this bag? YES.

I have seen many versions of this skirt everywhere. I especially love the leather versions of this…But anyway, this mini wrap-around skirt is perfect for an evening outfit, or a night in with the girls! The zip adds a touch of detail and edginess, and is great dressed down or up! I found this one on motelrocks.com.

Did you fall in love with any of these items?
